Whether they are tearing, breaking, chipping, or splitting, hard and brittle nails all have one thing in common: they are too dry. The causes for dry nails can differ. Whether you use cleaning agents or aggressive substances in nail polish remover or your nails have been exposed to dry and cold weather or artificial nails, dry and brittle nails are often accompanied by torn cuticles and even wounds. To get your nails back on track, nutrition and hydration is key; a nourishing nail oil might be the answer! This special oil spreads under the cuticle to the root and can moisturise and repair from the inside, immediately stimulating nail growth.

Herome has different types of nurturing nail oils. The Concentrated Nail Bath Oil is a restorative nail oil that makes these cuticles soft and supple whilst stimulating nail growth. Simply add some of the nail oil to a bowl of warm water. If you have extra dry nails, add 3 drops. For nails in a dry condition 2 drops and for nails in normal condition add 1 drop. Dip your nails in the water for 5 to 10 minutes and then gently dry them with a towel. Let the oil absorb well and degrease them with a nourishing nail polish remover before painting them afterwards. Apply the Nourishing Nail Oil to unpainted nails just before going to bed. Then massage the oil in lightly, so that it is properly absorbed. Do your nails break easily?
